Improper washing technique, such as circle motions, will create extremely visible scratches in the clear coat. Maverick detailers use straight line wash passes to insure a safe cleaning. Every step of the detail is a slow though-out process to insure the utmost safety of the clear coat. Paint correction or "buffing" is a costly process that can be avoided by proper washing technique.

Proper Wash Tools
The use of specific high-quality products and tools can lead to a great looking car. The opposite is also possible. Some detailers use cheap microfiber which can cause marring and scratching leading to a damaged finish. Of course, ours are soft. So soft you may just want to snuggle with them.
The Problems With Automatic Car Washes
You may have noticed after an automatic car wash your car's clear coat has scratches in it. This is because automatic carwash materials accumulate dirt from each car. Dirt is pushed into the paint with dangerous amounts of pressure. These cheap car washes miss spots and ineffectively clean the car. We properly clean our microfiber, after each wash, to insure every customer's car is not harmed during our wash or drying process.
